Non-Oily
Eye Makeup Remover Pads |
|
Rating: This makeup remover is very gentle. It takes off long lasting makeup effectively without stinging
the eyes. It comes with pads soaked
in makeup remover lotion. A point I
like to make about the pads, they are of much better quality than the ones I
have seen and tried in other brands. They do not have lint nor do they fall
apart. The texture is very smooth and hence does not irritate the sensitive
eye area. Although this is not as
comforting and smoothing as Clarins’s Gentle eye makeup remover, it is well
worth its price at $4.99 CAD, if not exceeded. |

Gentle
Eye Makeup Remover Lotion |
|
Rating: This is the most smoothing & comforting makeup remover I
have ever tried. It is oil-free and has
rose water + Soya protein to smooth the eye area and strength
lashes. After wearing my contact lenses for 10 hours in an air
conditioning environment my eyes and skin are often tired, dry and
possibility irritated. The last thing
I want is to have to sting my eyes with a strong detergent-based eye makeup
remover. Not only does this makeup
remover take off makeup effectively (except for waterproof & long lasting
makeup), but it is also very smoothing. I often soak two cotton pads with
this makeup remover lotion and rest them on my eyes for 15 – 20 minutes. This product is a makeup remover and an
eye treatment in one. *Image courtesy of www.clarins.com |

Plenitude Eye Make-Up Remover |
|
Rating: This is an eye makeup remover that sits in the little red
glass box that reads “In Case Of Emergency, Break Open Glass!” The emergency being when I run out of my
beloved Clarins eye makeup remover. This makeup remover contains vitamins to
smooth and condition the eye area; it does not sting nor irritate the eye
area, even with my sensitive eyes.
It removes makeup effectively (except for waterproof makeup) and
gently. One thing I hesitate about this
makeup remover is the strong fragrance, but it hasn’t bothered me so far. *Image courtesy of www.londondrugs.com |

Gentle Makeup Remover |

Rating: I seldom repurchase cosmetics / skincare products because I am
always on the quest to try out new stuff.
This is an eye makeup remover that I have repurchased 3 times already,
it surprise even me. This is a two-phase makeup remover, with
oil being one phase it effectively takes off waterproof or long lasting
makeup. It has cucumber & green
tea extracts to help smooth and comfort the delicate area, I don’t experience
much smoothing & comforting comparing to other makeup removers but it
does not irritate, that is always a plus for two-phase makeup removers. Of course if I get too much of this stuff
in my eyes it will sting, but in general speaking I love this makeup remover
and will continue to use it until my quest leads to me something better. *Image courtesy of www.marcelle.com |
