This cleanser has no fragrance and it is a mild formula for those with dry sensitive skin. I have combination / acne prone skin and even I did not experience any break out from this.   For the price you are getting a decent product.

“Blue Orchid” Face Treatment Oil

This is an excellent remedy for people with dehydrated skin.  It contains pure plant extracts to nourish, moisturize and revitalize dehydrated skin.  It is similar to the product above, a bottle can last a good few months.  I am awarding this product 4 flowers for its easy absorption and good product quantity.   The only nag I have about this product is the fragrance, although Clarins does not add any perfume to their products, the natural plant fragrance in this product is a tad bit too strong for me.

Normalizing Night Gel

The name of this product said it all.   It is a moisturizing gel formulated to normalize oily skin.  It contains properties to first calm oily skin, then regulates surface oil and tightens pores.   I was told not to use this together with the “Lotus” Face Treatment Oil because they would affect the effectiveness of each other.   A little of this product can go a long way, so do not be deceived by its small size.   It is very refreshing and it works overnight during the sleep to revitalize the skin.

Energizing Morning Cream

Want to treat your skin to a cocktail?  Try this Energizing Morning Cream.  It contains different kinds of vitamins and minerals to boost tired looking skin.  It moisturizes, tones and revitalizes your skin, giving it the pampering it deserves.  I find that this product might be a bit too rich for people with oily / combination skin.  One must try it out him / herself before purchasing this product.  Asks for samples from the Beauty Advisors.   This product comes in an air-sealed bottle that products the product from any contamination, it also prevent the loss of effectiveness by oxidation.  I like the fact that this product has different kinds of vitamins in it to nourish the skin; I am awarding this product with 4 little flowers.

Beauty Flash Balm

Got a hang over? This is a quick “pick-me-up” cream for those with tired, over stressed skin.  It makes a good makeup base for smooth makeup application.  I usually use this on my client before I put on their makeup.   For people with oily skin, try a sample of this first, you might find it a bit too rich.   Do wear a moisturizer together with this because it is not a replacement of moisturizer.  One of the main ingredients of this product is Olive, it is known for its Anti-free radical properties.  It is a good product to have in your makeup kit.

Gentle Day / Night Cream

Have sensitive skin?  Redness? Dry Patches?  Itchy skin?  Try this moisturizer before you give up hope.  It contains pure plant extracts to specifically calm & moisturize sensitive skin.  The product is stored in airtight sealed bottle like that of the Emerging Morning Cream (see above).  The unique packaging is to seal in the vitamins and minerals to keep them from depleting by the effects of any lights.  This product offers accumulative results; the sensitivity of the skin should be reduced after using this product for a genuine period of time. Try this together with the Gentle Toning Lotion & Gentle Night Cream to pamper your sensitive skin.  People with oily & sensitive skin might find this cream a bit too rich for them.  Use sparingly.

Skin Beauty Repair Concentrate Serum

This is the S.O.S. for people with extreme sensitive skin.  Think of it as a quick fix to irritated skin. This product is extremely concentrated; just a few drops are enough for each application.  I find that it really does help calm my irritated itchy red skin, but I was advised not to use this on a continual basis, but as a skincare treatment.  This product is meant to compliment the above two creams and the Gentle Toning Lotion.

Hydra-Matte Day Lotion

Oily Skin?  No problem.  Take advantage of this Hydra-Matte Day Lotion from Clarins.  It contains pure plant extracts to balance facial oil and moisturize the dry areas on the face.  The name said it all; it’s hydrating but at the same time yields a matte finish that lasts for hours.   It is a very light oil-free moisturizer, a little of it goes a long way.   It is my must have summer time moisturizer.  It contains UVA / UVB protection and like all other Clarins daytime moisturizer, it contains anti-free radicals to protect skin from environmental damage / pollution.

Thirst Quenching Hydra-Balance Serum

This is indeed the skin saver for me.  I was suffering from eczema for a few months, and my skin was extremely dehydrated. I get new breakouts every second day but the surface of my skin is extremely dry.  I can see fine lines forming and boy was I ever worried until I was introduced to this product.  It is a small bottle of fluid in two phases, one phase is blue and the other is oil.  Shake to activate the two phases to release plant extracts that moisturizes, rebalance, tones and hydrates the skin.    It is like a S.O.S. treatment for dehydrated skin.  At first I was discouraged by its small size, but when I start using it I understand why because all I need is 1 pump of this stuff to cover the whole face.  Amazing, isn’t it?   I recommended you use this underneath your favorite night cream / day cream or use it alone but use with sun protection in the day time.  I awarded this little fella with five flowers for the wonders it can do.

Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion

This is one of the best lotions I have tried, it is gentle, fragrance free and moisturizing.  It is a good moisturizer for people with sensitive skin.  Yet, for people with combination skin or oily skin, this might be a bit too rich or can cause breakouts due to the richness of it.  Try the oil free moisturizer by Clinique as a substitute.  Over all I like the texture of this lotion and I like the fact that it’s fragrance free.

Moisture Surge Extra Thirsty Skin Relief

This is a very good moisturizer for people with dry skin or dehydrated skin.  It is light in texture but it delivers good moisture to the skin. Immediately after using it for only 1 day, I can feel that my skin is more supple and smooth.  This lotion is great for all skin types.

Total Turnaround Visible Skin Renewer

This moisturizer is formulated to reduce lines and renew the skin for a more radiant look.  I love the texture of this cream, it is not too rich but it is a nice fluffy cream that delivers moisture to the skin.  This is good for all skin types.  People with oily skin should a sample of this before purchasing, some might find it a tad bit too rich.  Over all speaking, I like this cream.

Dove® Essential Nutrients™ Day Lotion SPF 15

There was a time when every major skincare company introduced a daytime moisturizer with SPF 15.  Dove being one of the leading brands in body care and skin care products introduced this product – the Essential Nutrients Day Lotion.  It contains ingredients in it that are normally found in the skin. It has essential nutrients, along with vitamins, green tea extract and spring water in this lightweight lotion.  I find this product similar to Olay’s complete moisturizer (see below) and Neutrogena’s SPF 15 moisturizer, except for its distinctive fragrance.  It is a nice affordable drug store brand moisturizer.

Another one of my favorite moisturizer.  It is light weight but hydrating.  Skin feels supple and smooth upon application, and it does not leave a greasy film on face after few hours.  It’s a keeper in my kit..

Neutrogena is famous for its dermatologists recommended reputation.  Its products are fragrance free, Non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores) and Hypo-allergenic. This moisturizer is oil free & light weight, I find that it is a bit too light for some people, especially around the cheeks. It claims to moisturize the dry areas but absorbs oil with a Microsponge^® system, it control oils and shine in the T-Zone area.  I do not find that this moisturizer did a whole lot to control the shine on my T-Zone.  My good impression of it is its lightweight texture and fragrance free.  But I will need something richer in winter to combat the dryness in Alberta.  Over all speaking, this is a nice affordable oil-free moisturizer.

Sensitive Skin Moisture

This is a nice lotion for sensitive skin.  It is of course fragrance free and colorant free. This moisturizer doesn’t do much to calm the irritate skin, but at least it does not irritate it any further.  I would use this as a makeup base for some of my clients because I know from experience that this product will not cause irritations.  However, for people with combination / oily skin, they might find this lotion a tad bit too rich.  Use with caution.

Complete Care Daily UV Protection Moisturizing Lotion

I never to expect so much from a moisturizing lotion.  Not only does it have SPF 15 that shield out both UVA / UVB rays, but it also has Vitamin E in it to combat free radicals.  It does not leave a overly shiny finish on the face, but a nice semi-matte finish.  I have combination skin this works fine for me.  The only nag I have about this product is I reacted to the fragrance in its original formula, so I had to switch to the one for sensitive skin.  The one for sensitive skin works just fine for me. A bottle will last me a good few months.  It is a decent moisturizer at an affordable price. However, people with oily skin might find this moisturizer too rich.

Classic Moisturizing Lotion

I remember seeing my mother use this moisturizing lotion since I was young. It has been around for a long time for a good reason. It is fast absorbing and lightweight.  It has this distinctive smell that brings me right back to my childhood memories.  It is a nice moisturizer at an affordable price.  There’s nothing in it that will protect against the harmful sunrays or reduce wrinkles, but for those of you who just want a classic moisturizer, this is one of them.
